It’s been a busy September, and we’ve been very fortunate that the change of season has been kind to us and given us some lovely sunny days. This has meant we have been able to spend many days out in the garden, and the residents have helped to replant their hanging baskets with pansies which fingers crossed will provide us with some winter colour.
We had a lovely performance from Helen on her keyboard, the residents thoroughly enjoyed it, joining in with a singalong to the tunes.
Our pub day was a great success, residents enjoyed drinks and pub games from our very own “Ye Olde Tutnall Hall”, there were possibly a couple of sore heads the next morning!
We had our Macmillan Coffee morning, residents enjoyed plenty of cake and staff helped to raise over £45 to go to Macmillan Cancer Support- thank you so much!
With Autumn coming into full swing, we are looking at the change in weather and Halloween coming up. We’ll have plenty of crafting activities to help decorate the home and some pumpkin carving. All ready for our Halloween party, where we’ll dress up, play some games and have spooky treats.
We’ll be having our monthly visit from Tardebigge church to perform a service for our residents and also our very popular exercise class led by Gina from G. Fitness.
We’ll be taking part in “Wear it pink” for Breast Cancer Now and raise some money for the lifesaving charity, so everyone find out your pink clothes!
Have a spooky October!
